This handcrafted, battle-ready replica of a nasal helmet protects the warrior's head and nose. Helmets like this were known among the Slavs and Germans as early as the Early Middle Ages and were used in modified form until the 13th century. The helmet was usually combined with a mail coif to increase protection. Our helmet has an adjustable and padded fabric inlay with leather straps to ensure a good fit. It is excellent for LARP and medieval reenactment, as well as combat reenactment.
If combining with a mail coif, we recommend measuring the head circumference including the coif!
