This authentic early medieval knife blade for DIY knife making was hand-forged from steel, is sharpened and has a wrought-iron look. The larger, pointed knife blade is ideally suited for a DIY build of an early medieval everyday and utility knife, which is definitely intended for heavier work. The tang can be "inserted" into a wooden, horn or bone handle for fastening. The early medieval knife blade is therefore ideally suited for DIY knife makers and early medieval craftsmen as well as Germanic and Viking reenactment.
