The short hunting knife blade was hand-forged based on an Early Medieval original and is sharpened! This specially shaped knife blade with its slightly curved edge is easy to handle and is suitable, for example, for skinning and gutting during hunting, i.e., as a utility knife. The tang, also known as the "Erl," is designed for attachment to a wooden or bone handle, and the forge-blackened surface has been intentionally left for aesthetic reasons to enhance its rustic appearance. The Early Medieval hunting knife blade is ideal for DIY knife makers, craftsmen, and Early Medieval reenactment.
