This hand-forged Early Medieval Utility Knife features a trailing point blade and a leather sheath. The trailing point blade has a long, drawn-out blade, the tip of which extends significantly above the spine of the blade.
This made such knives particularly well-suited as tools for everyday tasks in the Early Middle Ages, such as skinning animals or cutting meat and other foodstuffs. The twisted handle provides a good grip, and the knife can be stored in the leather sheath and carried on a belt. The early medieval utility knife is perfect for reenactment or for a stall at a medieval market.
Material: Steel, leather
Overall length: approx. 22 cm
