This early medieval warrior amulet was handcrafted from high-quality bronze and depicts a warrior in the Vendel style. The original comes from a helmet plate found on a burial mound in Torslunda, Sweden, in 1870, where a total of 4 such plates were discovered. They were likely used to create helmet decorations for warrior helmets, as found in Valsgärde, Vendel, and even in England in the famous Sutton Hoo grave. This find was dated to the 6th century, also known as the Vendel Period, marking the transition from antiquity to the Early Middle Ages. This amulet is therefore a perfect piece of jewelry and also a gift for fans and reenactors of the Franks, Anglo-Saxons, Slavs, Goths, and Germanic peoples.
