This replica of a hand-forged axe head from a 15th-century battle axe from the Late Middle Ages is based on a find in Bohemia. It features the classic late medieval t-shaped axe blade with decorative perforations. Due to the massive armors of the Late Middle Ages, axes became increasingly massive, which explains the size of the axe head. The axe head has been polished to a high sheen and still needs to be hafted.
