Axe wedge for handle attachment - forged

This forged axe wedge serves simply for securing handles, whether your axe and hammer head loosens from the handle over time and becomes wobbly, or if you want to attach a new axe head. To do this, simply drive the axe wedge into the wood shaft from above, following the grain, thereby pressing the wood against the axe eye. This also works for a hammer, of course. We offer two different sized wedges for different sized wooden shafts, so please measure beforehand.
