This artfully and detailed Asatru amulet, made of noble silver, depicts Irminsul, the World Pillar. Irminsul or Erminsul is considered an early medieval sanctuary of the Saxons, which was destroyed by the Frankish king Charlemagne in the 8th century. The Great Pillar, which is what the name means in Germanic, is a symbol for the Saxons representing the support of the firmament and thus the order of the world. On the Asatru amulet there are two deer and an eagle, which further emphasize the connection of the natural order of its wearer. An ideal piece of jewelry for Asatru followers and Germanic and Saxon fans, but of course also suitable for the medieval market and for everyday wear.
