This handmade pair of Anglo-Saxon garment hooks Trewhiddle was made of robust bronze and is a detailed replica based on a find in England, the land of the Anglo-Saxons. The original find was dated to the early Middle Ages of the 9th century, i.e., the Anglo-Saxon Viking Age, decorated with an undefined animal in the eponymous Trewhiddle style. Garment hooks were a common fastening element among Anglo-Saxons in the early Middle Ages and could be used for various purposes, including as hooks for leg wraps. The Anglo-Saxon garment hooks Trewhiddle are a perfect accessory and gift for early medieval reenactment, medieval markets, and LARP.
