Yggdrasil Amulet with Runes, Bronze

This handcrafted Yggdrasil amulet with runes was made of bronze. It depicts Yggdrasil, also known as the World Ash, an elementary part of Viking mythology, in which Yggdrasil consists of three parts: Asgard, Midgard, and Udgard. The edge of the bronze amulet is made of a runic alphabet—the Elder Futhark—which dates back to the Germanic tribes. This Yggdrasil amulet with runes is made of robust bronze and is a suitable piece of jewelry for any Norseman from the early Middle Ages, at a medieval market, or in everyday life. The eyelet at the top allows it to be worn on a leather cord or a narrow chain, up to a maximum of 4 mm in diameter.
