The Viking Mask Amulet in Borre style, made of bronze, is based on a find from the burial grounds of Uppåkra/Sweden. The original was dated to the 9th - 10th century of the Early Middle Ages, which also matches the Viking Age Borre style used to decorate the amulet. The amulet is made of bronze and depicts a bearded Viking with large eyes and a small nose. There are claims that these are faces of gods like Odin or Loki, but this is not at all substantiated. Mask amulets like this one were also found in Härad/Sweden or Gnezdovo/Russia and demonstrate the widespread use of such jewelry in the Viking Age. The Viking Mask Amulet from Uppåkra in Borre style is the perfect jewelry for Viking and Rus portrayals/reenactments and therefore also a suitable gift!
