This Viking spherical bead with a spiral pattern made of bronze is based on finds from the former Viking trading post of Birka. The dating indicates the 10th century of the Viking Age. During the Viking Age, elaborate beads were crafted from bronze, silver, and even gold using granulation techniques, often adorned with Viking Age spiral patterns.
