The Quarter Thaler or Joachimsthaler is a replica from the Bohemian Renaissance and a historically very significant coin. Made from aluminum using classic minting techniques with a hand-engraved die, it possesses an authentic look and high level of detail. At the beginning of the 16th century, the Lords of Schlick discovered such a large silver deposit in the Ore Mountains that they founded the city of Joachimsthal there. King Ludwig I (1516–1526) granted them the privilege to mint their own large silver coin, and the smaller Quarter Thaler also came from Joachimsthal, where it was minted from 1519–1526. Later, this name evolved through the Dutch "Daler" into the name for the American Dollar.

The obverse shows the Bohemian double-tailed lion, the coat of arms of the Kingdom of Bohemia. The inscription reads: LUDOVICVS PRIMVS DEI GRACIA REX BOEMIE (Louis I, by the grace of God King of Bohemia). The reverse features the figure of Saint Joachim (Sanctus Iochimus), the patron saint of miners, in the center, and the family coat of arms of the Lords of Schlick. The inscription reads: ARMA DOMINORVM SLICORVM STEFANI ET FRATRVM COMITVM DE BASAIA (Arms of the Lords Schlick, Stephen and his brothers, Counts of Bassano).

The Quarter Thaler from the time of Louis I is perfect as play money for LARP or Cosplay, as a prop for Reenactment, as historical decoration, and as a collector's item.
