This slightly oval Viking bronze bead was made based on finds from the early Middle Ages. Oval bronze beads like these were very common and popular during the Viking Age, not only in Scandinavia, but were also an elementary component of women's traditional clothing. These decorative beads were also highly sought after as jewelry and trade goods, even in the Orient. The granulated beads were soldered onto the bead with intricate work using small spheres or even finest wires. This oval Viking bronze bead is cast completely in one piece and is suitable for Viking reenactment, the medieval market, and LARP.
