This replica of a medieval scissor chair was handcrafted from robust wood and sturdy cowhide. It can be completely disassembled, as all wood joints are mortised and secured with removable wooden pegs. Already in antiquity, Greeks and Romans used folding or scissor chairs, which enjoyed lasting popularity through the Middle Ages and into modern times. Why? Quite simply, they are comfortable and do not take up much space when transported or stored. This chair fits perfectly in any Roman, medieval or LARP camp and is an eye-catcher even at home.
