This hand-forged and decorative medieval flail with a ball was available in many different variations. It is the classic medieval weapon for common foot soldiers, developed from the peasant threshing flail, it naturally required less training than many other weapons. The higher quality craftsmanship of the flail with the robust steel chains and the ball, which were attached to a longer wooden handle, fits perfectly as a historical decoration in any room of a knight fan, at a medieval market or for reenactment.
