This early medieval Rus Heart Norbotten pendant made of bronze - a replica - is typical of the magnificent decorations of the Rus during the Viking Age. Usually, such pieces of jewelry adorned leather bags and belt straps of the Rus as fittings, but they were also popular as trade goods and were accordingly spread throughout Northern Europe via the great trade routes. As a result, such heart-shaped decorations were always found in Viking graves as grave goods, like this one from the 9th century in Norbotten, Sweden. The Rus Heart Norbotten pendant made of bronze is ideal for Rus and Viking reenactment, but also suitable for everyday wear, the medieval market, and Norse LARP.
