Celtic Bronze Ferrules for DIY Knife Making
This Celtic ferrule or fitting is made of robust bronze and is intended for DIY knife making. It has a recess for the knife blade to close it off towards the knife handle and is perfectly suited for small knife blades with a blade width of 2 to 2.2 cm, but can easily be enlarged with a fine file. Historically, this ferrule prevents the handle from splitting when the knife tang is inserted, and at the same time, this ferrule with its Celtic decorations is a visual enhancement. The Celtic bronze ferrule is ideal for DIY knife making by craftsmen and is therefore also perfect for Early Medieval Reenactors and Celtic fans.
