This Celtic hair & jewelry bead was carved from a cattle bone with genuine craftsmanship and elaborately decorated with interlaced knotwork. Hair & jewelry beads with interlaced knotwork like this were a widespread piece of jewelry in the Early Middle Ages. The opening, with an inner diameter of approx. 4 mm, is well suited for fine hair and makes every hairstyle an eye-catcher.
