Early Medieval Round Shield with Vegvisir and Rawhide - Decoration
This early medieval round shield with a painted Vegvisir made of wood and a rawhide trim is the perfect decoration for any Viking and Vikings fan in their personal camp, mead hall, and of course for on the go at medieval markets. The edge of the round shield has been covered with rawhide, also used in the early Middle Ages, and on the front there is a steel boss. On the back, an arm strap and a steel fist grip are attached for holding. On the back, there are three riveted reinforcement strips that give the shield additional stability. The central strip also serves as a grip, as in the Viking Age, and is wrapped with leather in the area of the shield hole for better grip. This early medieval round shield with Vegvisir is a great accessory for Asatru Vikings, cosplay, stage performances or TV/film/theater, and also a beautiful collector's or display item or decorative object for all lovers of the Viking Age.
