This small, detailed replica of an Avaric strap fitting heart from the Merovingian period was made of robust bronze. It is heart-shaped, has been dated to the 7th century of the Merovingian period, and has been found frequently in this and similar forms. The fitting is suitable for straps with a width of 1.5 cm and is ideal for Early Medieval reenactment, medieval markets, cosplay, and LARP.
