This DIY Viking round shield is perfect for all Viking re-enactors and Viking fans who have always wanted to build their own personal and unique authentic Viking round shield! The round shield was made of plywood, the surface then covered with canvas, glued and pre-painted with white paint. This allows you to decorate your Viking round shield with your own clan colors, crests and/or motifs. You then need to fix the included steel shield boss to the center of the round shield with screws. Alternatively, you can use authentic steel rivets if you are skilled in craftsmanship or know a capable craftsman. The DIY Viking round shield is the perfect decoration and accessory in the Viking camp, at the medieval market and at home!
Please note that the round shield is not suitable for combat!
